Jody Lovell and her husband, Wood, own Highlands Sotheby’s and Cashiers Sotheby’s International Realty with three offices and over forty brokers covering the Highlands/Cashiers Plateau. Jody has been the top-producing broker in the Highlands/Cashiers market since 2001 selling over one billion dollars of real estate.
Formerly a lawyer with King and Spalding in Atlanta, she uses her high energy and attention to detail for her clients. A graduate of The Ohio State College of Law, she did post-graduate work at Oxford College in England. She received her LLM (Masters in Law) from Kings College in London, England. She was in the first class of United States attorneys to qualify as English Solicitors.
Jody has her Georgia license with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty in Atlanta, Georgia which is only two hours away from Highlands - a huge feeder market to the mountains. This affiliation gives Highlands Sotheby’s International Realty close access to the top 500 brokers in Metro Atlanta who have clients for this market. Jody also has her South Carolina license with Joanne Herlong and Associates in Greenville giving her access to South Carolina’s top-producing brokers.
Jody has been named the Number One broker in North Carolina for several years by Real Trends and is recognized as one of the Top 100 Sotheby’s agents in the world out of 26,000 agents. Highlands Sotheby’s is the top-producing company in Highlands over the last decade.
